Trex Outdoor Furniture products are built with Genuine POLYWOOD™ lumber, a proprietary material made of reusable and recyclable high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plastics.

Does the lumber contain wood or natural fibers?

Genuine POLYWOOD™ lumber is made from HDPE plastic and does not contain wood or any natural fibers.

Is the color of Trex Outdoor Furniture only on the surface?

No, the color runs throughout the HDPE lumber material, not just the surface.

Is the lumber resistant to fading and UV damage?

Yes! Light-stable pigments, UV inhibitors, and other protectants are blended into the lumber, protecting it against fading and sun damage.

What are Trex Outdoor Furniture cushions made out of?

Trex Outdoor Furniture cushions and pillows are hand-sewn from outdoor performance fabric that resists fading, stains, moisture, mold, and mildew. The inner filling is a polyester fiber blend.

What is the hardware made from?

Our furniture hardware—nuts, bolts, screws, and other fasteners—is crafted from marine-grade quality 18-8 stainless steel with corrosion-resistant Xylan coatings.

Do Trex Outdoor Furniture tables include umbrella holes?

Our conversation, dining, counter, and bar tables have 1.625″ center holes that fit standard umbrellas and come with removable hole covers.

Is assembly required?

Some Trex Outdoor Furniture products arrive fully assembled, while others are designed for easy at-home assembly. Furniture that requires assembly typically takes less than 30 minutes to complete, and we include basic tools, hardware, and simple instructions with each order.

What is the White Glove Delivery Experience?
